Wednesday's 8-1 loss to the Mariners marked the end of the Dodgers' Cactus League schedule. The Dodgers are currently in Seoul, South Korea, where they will play the Padres in the Seoul Series on Wednesday and Thursday to open the season. The start times of both games versus San Diego are 6:05 a.m. ET/3:05 a.m. PT.
The Dodgers played an exceptional spring, finishing with a 13-5 record alongside a +49 run differential. But in the end, how the Dodgers perform in October will ultimately determine how their season is remembered.
But before that, the Dodgers revealed their 31-man roster for their Korea trip. The Dodgers will have to cut their roster to 26 players for their two games against the Padres, but all 31 players will be able to participate in the two exhibition games versus Team Korea and the Kiwoom Heroes.
Los Angeles’s lineup will include three catchers, six infielders, five outfielders, one designated hitter, seven starting pitchers, and nine relievers.
As the spring comes to a close, the starting rotation race becomes clearer. The Dodgers have an open fight for the fifth position in the rotation since Walker Buehler and Emmet Sheehan were placed on the injured list before the beginning of the season. Grove and Stone stood out as the most likely candidates out of the group. After having successful springs, both right-handers will have more opportunities to demonstrate why they should be selected in the two exhibition games in Seoul.

James Paxton and Brusdar Graterol are the two noticeable absences from South Korea's roster. Graterol will remain on the injured list while he works to resolve soreness in his right shoulder and hip. This spring, he was only able to play in one Cactus League game, but the Dodgers think his absence will be brief.
As for Paxton, his absence was always anticipated. Although Paxton is completely healthy, he was not going to start either exhibition game and would not be used in the bullpen for the two games during the regular season. As a result, the Dodgers made the decision to keep him in Arizona in order to give themselves room for a reliever.
Tune in next week for how this Seoul series plays out.
