Throwing out the first pitch for at the Brewers and Tigers game on Wednesday's game was Edward Miklavcic, a 105-year-old veteran who both survived the Pearl Harbor attack and fought in World War II.
Before the game, Brewers players and coaches met with Miklavcic, with outfielder Sal Frelick building a strong connection.
Frelick did something he hadn't done in the regular season since May 15, 2024, hit a home run.
After the game, Frelick spoke on how he views Miklavcic, quoting him as a "superhero" and giving him credit to his first home run of the season.
The 24-year-old outfielder has had a strong start to the season, leading the Brewers in batting average (.318), on base percentage (.408) and OPS (.863).
